Aloha Karen, I remember that performance where you sang In My Life at the Speech House--that was an incredible experience. Mahalo for learning the solo arrangement. I like to practice playing block chords every two beats with this song to work on connecting the shapes.

Aloha Kim, Excellent performance of the Sor Study No. 9 (Op. 51, No. 1). You brought out the flowing 3/8 time, used your left hand to mute open strings for rests, and used dynamic changes on repeated sections. The bass notes in the minor section are sustaining well. All the Fernando Sor Etudes are challenging and I am happy to see you making great progress learning them. Mahalo!
