In addition to using the thumb to play melodies on the ukulele, alternating the index and middle fingers in the right hand is a wonderful technique that allows relaxation and increased speed. It is one of the most common techniques we will use in the fingerstyle courses at Ukulele Corner. In this video we explore some exercises to get you started with this technique with a good overall set up of the right hand. These exercises can become a regular part of your practice routine and will greatly improve your tone and technique.
