Unit 1
In the first unit of the Blues Course for ukulele we will learn the 12 bar blues progression in many keys, strumming patterns, and common chords that are used to play accompaniment in the blues.
Unit 2
In this unit we will explore chord tones and how they can be used to bring out the sound of the blues progression, the pentatonic scale, the blues scale, and guide tones which are essential parts of chords used in the blues progression.
Unit 3
In unit 3 we will learn all about bass lines and how to connect them following the blues progressions. We will also learn how to use the interval of the 6th to bring out the sound of the blues. We will put walking bass lines together with chords to create two separate voices.
