The masterpiece Hey Jude was written by Paul McCartney and John Lennon, one of the most inspired musical collaborations ever. After John Lennon separated from his wife, Paul McCartney wrote this song for Julian Lennon, John’s son, to comfort him. Originally, the lyrics read “Hey Jules” and were later changed to “Hey Jude.”
This arrangement is in the key of F and gives a great opportunity to learn how to play a melody with a block chords accompaniment.
