Julia Florida by Barrios for Classical Ukulele
In this video, Jeff Peterson plays his arrangement of Agustín Barrios Mangoré’s famous Julia Florida for classical ukulele. This barcarolle (or boat song) is one of the most popular Barrios pieces for classical guitar and was written in 1938 while the composer was in Costa Rica. The piece is dedicated to Julia Martinez, who was one of his students.
This is a live performance that was streamed on Stageit where Jeff plays every week, check it out! https://stageit.com/JeffPeterson
