Do you know how to tune your ukulele? Tuning your ukulele is a fundamental part of learning the instrument. In this video introduction to tuning, I will walk you through the following:

  • How to tune by ear (with a reference pitch, such as a tuning fork)
  • How to tune by an electronic tuner
  • How to tune by a smart phone app

The electronic tuner I’m using is the D’Addario Micro Headstock tuner.

And the tuner app I use, for both Android and iOS, is called Pano Tuner.
